I believe that everything happens for a reason weather its from a family member dying or dropping an ice cream cone on the ground. The smallest to the biggest things, sometimes we think why some situation is happening to us but what we really need to think is what other doors are open at the moment.
In my life I have had so many experiences where I thought that i would be depressed for the rest of my life. A prime example was when my first dog died. Even though he was very old I was very upset, he was my very first dog. He was mutt and we had gotten him from the Animal Shelter. He was abandoned at K-Mart and the family thought they were doing a good deed by adopting him. Well they were doing a good thing morally but for the whole family it was kind of outrageous. His name was Henry and he was crazy, but loyal. He was already old so we knew he wasn't going to be here for too long. We had him for longer than we had thought we would, and one day he just didn't wake up. I was pretty young so i cried my eyes out. Even though my first dog had died I learned that it was for the best because after he passed on we could adopt a new dog from the animal shelter that needed a home.
Another example of the belief everything happens for a reason was an incident happening to my friend Juliette. Juliette had an old rickety beat up shed and it was bound to fall over or something like that. On a really windy day it blew right over into the woods and it was hanging on a tree. After Juliette called a lot of her friends to get the shed up and out of the woods. None of them could come so Juliette was stranded. Finally she got her neighbors to come and help her. As they were bringing it out of the woods, the door to the shed broke off and flew in front of her and almost landed on her but one of her neighbors caught it just in time. If her friends came chances are that they wouldn't have been able to redirect the door of the shed and it could of seriously hurt her.
From the smallest little things to biggest boulders in your life I believe everything happens for a reason. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.
